K 1000

This ONE was a brisk seller because it had everything that many of the other clones had - but it added a TV and a keypad. Not every one likes texting and messaging on a flat, touch screen. At first glance from KUXING, the K1000 is very SIMilar to this phone. However, the K model is quad band. Many of the 99i's are tri band.

Additionally, the new K1000 has dual cameras - one of the front and one on the back. And, the K model is a bit lighter than the N. The K1000 only weighs about 100 grams, while the N was well over 130 grams.



♥ Much More Memory:
→ When the clones first came out, many help only 2GB of memory. Today, we do have some phones that will hold 8GB. But, the K1000 can hold up to 16GB of memory which makes it one of the stand outs in this category. Now, not many of these phones are sold with this much memory. But, the phone can support this and upgrading is just a matter or buying a new, cheap SD card.

♥ it's Standout Features:
→ Probably the main selling point of this phone is the real time analog TV. In addition to the stylus, this phone has a retractable antennae which is used to receive local channels. I find reception on this one to be quite good. There is no subscription associated with this. And, it also has everything else that you've come to expect. It has dual SIM slots so that you can have two plans or networks. Many people use this feature to save money because the phone can use also use pre paid SIM cards. So, it's common to use one for a talk plan and one for Internet. This way, you're only using and paying for what you need.

→ And I said before, "it also features two digital cameras, MP3 / MP4, Bluetooth, SMS, MMS, and EMS, as well as web browsing". ☺

♥ Price wise, this one is quite reasonable. I find that this phone very often appeals to folks who are more interested in the TV than anything else, but some folks like it because the like the iPhone features, but they prefer having real, raised keys rather than being stuck with only a flat, touch screen.
