look the new AT&T and Sony Ericsson have announced the W518a Walkman, a device intended to provide easy social networking and multimedia functions.

Users can check in with a custom Facebook interface to see friends' status updates and profile pictures and easily update their own status with one-click access from the home screen. The W518a features a 3.2 megapixel camera, so they can shoot photographs and quickly upload them to Facebook as well. Users can control the device with standard button, motion sensor, and gesture controls.

The W518a user can download music over-the-air with the Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile services. They can save songs to external Memory Stick Micro M2 cards and listen wirelessly with A2DP Bluetooth stereo headphones. Google to Launching Google Voice app for Android and BlackBerry

CNet reports that Google will release an official Google Voice application Wednesday for Android and BlackBerry devices, according to Senior Product Manager Vincent Paquet.

The application lets users make calls with Google Voice so that the Google-assigned phone number appears for the individual being contacted. Voicemail is also transcribed within the application itself.
